eat my hat

so lasterweekend we got to go up to DFW to see grampa off into the land of retirement, which was really fun as i got to see my unca matt again (word!) and aunt becky and gramma and grampa and even aunt nancy and uncle shawn and my cousin, who although girly and talkful, is only a bit taller than me, so i think i could take her. anyway, it was a pretty nice weekend what with the mexican rice and chips and all at the dinner.

anyway, i think i will be watching out from now on, because after the dinner they actually had grampa eat his hat. no joke! okay, so it happened to be mystically made of dark chocolate and ganache on the inside, but still. it was a hat and we ate it. which seemed wrong somehow.
