hearing test

so lasterday i noticed something quite disturbable. as i've posted before, the audiological lady checked my ears while i was checking the pig and elephant's ears. at the p.d.attrition, she checked my ears after we'd both checked kylee's rabbit's ears. however when elmo visits the doctor, they check elmo's ears even though he doesn't have any. which, come to think of it is pretty unnatural. unless he's a fish of some sort. they don't seem to have much in the way of ears.
